Having graduated from the University of Leeds with a Masters in International Business, Sam spent the first few years of his career in finance, working for Barclays Corporate and Barclays Capital. 


With a desire to move into a more entrepreneurial, pioneering industry, Sam joined fintech business, Monitise, where he worked in the CEO's Office for founder and Chief Executive, Alastair Lukies. 

Sam is also co-founder, with Oliver Rifkind, of Stand Up - a campaign championing engagement in politics amongst under 30 year olds.

Al Lukies currently serves as a Strategic Advisor of Monitise plc. He is the co-founder and previously served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Monitise. He serves as the Managing Director for Morse’s other mobile interests.


Prior to conceiving, financing and successfully building Monitise, he was a Co-founder of epolitix.com. He has proven track record of turning visions and concepts into real businesses. He was recognised as a 'Technology Pioneer' by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2006 on the basis of its ability to help social change.


The future of where our technology can go is clear. ecomumy’s new mentor team in the form of Alastair and Sam is the next vital step for a unique idea to be known nationally.
